Ok, so it's been a while since there was last a post on here, so figured I would write a quick review about the first ever Prometheus Rover camp that took place 28-30 September 2012.
The camp took place at the de Wildt 4x4 campsite. The site was very well kept and the managers were very accommodating regarding people coming and going etc...
On the Saturday we visited the de Wildt Cheetah Sanctuary, which was very interesting and educational! Definitely worth a visit with your Troop or Pack as they offer a variety of educational packages!
We also visited the local Padstal where we sampled some of their fine produce!
Anyways, the weekend was super successful as a whole and looking forward to more events o the sort!
In the upcoming posts we will review the investiture of our first Rovers as well as our first ever AGM!
Many firsts and many beginnings for our Crew! Let's keep that fire burning!!
Until next time!! CIAO!! :)
